Better Health and Well-Being in 2025

Have you set any intentions for 2025? Is there anything you want to get into your life and to let go of? Do you want to improve your health? Do you intend to have less pain and more mobility? Do you want to do more hikes and get back on your bicycle? Or do you aim for more calm, a better balance, less anxiety or a better way of eating? – Whatever your intentions are, it is a fact that it is not easy to allow changes in our lives and transform ourselves. It may even be hard to find the clarity on how to go about it. Or we may have good intentions, and then we lose ambition or motivation.


Alexander Technique (AT) and Reflexology both can be instrumental for change.


AT and Reflexology can be helpful to get grounded, centered and well-connected to your body and yourself. In the Alexander Sessions, you enter a process of change via gentle touch and verbal guidance. It is an active process where you learn to 'work with yourself' and develop strategies to reduce muscle tone and improve postural support. Being attentive to your body and your body’s reactions, and learning to respond wisely to inner and outer stimuli make deep transformations possible. Reflexology is a form of modern healing art that works with the body’s structures and functions via touch of the feet. In the reflex zones of the feet all parts and organs of the body are reflected. When certain reflex zones are stimulated by the therapist’s touch, it affects the corresponding regions in the body. This provides balance, regulates the organs and tissues, and improves natural processes such as breathing, circulation and digestion.


Reflexology and AT help restore health and vitality.


AT and Reflexology sessions both help to release stress, decrease muscle tension, reduce pain in the body, and lower anxiety. AT helps to increase body awareness, and addresses habits and holding patterns that may lead to back pain, neck and shoulder issues, headaches, difficulty to focus, or anxiety and negative thinking. Applying AT principles to change habitual posture and movement will result in upright poise, effortless movement, better energy, improved well-being, and ease in body and mind. Reflexology treatments support and balance the body’s systems including the hormonal system, the lymphatic system, immune system, and the nervous system. A variety of different issues can be addressed such as digestive troubles, sleep issues, exhaustion and fatigue, sleeping problems, chronic back pain, headache, swelling, low immunity, joint pain, or loss of balance.

I received intensive trainings in AT and Reflexology in Germany, and I am continuously educating myself to keep up with the newest science and techniques to serve you best. I have had my practice for over 20 years now, and I have seen again and again how people’s health and lives have changed: They experience less pain, get better sleep, be more active, eat better, have less anxiety and feel better. Whereas AT sessions lead to more freedom of movement and enhance performance in daily life, Reflexology treatments directly support all body systems and efficiently affect health issues. AT and Reflexology both help to better connect to oneself and listen to our body’s wisdom. They assist in finding clarity in body and mind, increasing (self-)perception, and developing a kind and attentive relationship to oneself so profound changes are possible.
